United States (2006) | 77 minutes
Director: Josh Gilbert
A film exploring the real motivations behind America’s “War on Drugs” following Tommy Chong’s arrest for the terrible crime of selling bongs in 2003. Set against the back drop of the War on Drugs and its tangled web of legal issues, this film examines the personal effects the ordeal had on Tommy, as well as the motivations and tactics of the politicized Justice Department under George W. Bush.
