United Airlines Strikes Again At Being The Worst By Making a Passenger Pee in a Cup

The company that got really bad PR recently – cue Dr. David Dao the man who was dragged off an over-booked flight last month continues to get claims of terrible customer service.

Another nightmare United experience was revealed on Saturday when a nurse from Kansas City described her experience on an American Airlines flight where Nicole Harper informed the flight attendants that she must use the bathroom. She said she has an overactive urine, and when you gotta go, you gotta go! She said either she had to use it or needed a cup – and the attendants then gave her a cup. BOOM! She got served! Coffee, tea, or a cup to pee?

Harper did what she had to do but when the deed was over she was shame and ridiculed by the airlines staff. It’s not bad enough that she just peed in a cup on an airplane aisle surrounded by family and strangers, but the staff told her they would file a report against her, call a hazmat team in to disinfect her area, and that she would have to speak to the pilot after the the flight. Apparently she handled the cup in a clean go but the flight attendants really let her have it.

Harper wrote about this on Facebook early Saturday morning but said the incident occurred the day after the notorious beating went down on April 9th.

“United Airlines refuses to take my call, now I can’t sleep and just keep thinking about how wrong this is,” said Harper.

Of course United released a statement in true PR fashion that addresses the issue in there language:

“Initial reports from our flight attendants indicate that Ms Harper attempted to visit the lavatory on final descent and was instructed to remain seated with the seat belt fastened per FAA regulations,” the statement said. “The situation described by Ms Harper and our employees is upsetting for all involved. We have reached out to Ms. Harper and our flying partner Mesa Airlines to better understand what occurred.”

Yeah that sounds like a well processed PR explanation and this comes after other questionable behavior from the airlines aside from the Dao incident– they barred female passengers saying their leggings were “inappropriate dress” since when do airlines have dress codes? Also a rabbit died after a flight from London to Chicago. This airline better shape up or start offering tickets at a huge discount and embrace being the worst like Spirit does. But Spirit owns up to why they suck which is why they are the best at being the worst.
