Dance photography is truly a beautiful and visually stunning (and highly specific) medium. It shows both strength and grace, shining a white light in an otherwise rather melancholy world.
The talented Ukrainian photographer (and sculptor, geez is there anything this guy CAN’T do) Vadim Stein captures the elegance that is dancers-in-motion.
“Solving the aesthetic problem, I also reveal many ethical questions For me, such things as love and death are revealed through the aesthetic category, beauty is the predecessor of ethics,” Stein writes. Ugh, just add poetry to your list of accomplishments why don’t you!

These are hypnotizing! Pretty sure I sat with my mouth open, gaping at the sheer awesomeness of these. He’s currently located in St. Petersburg, Russia, which makes sense as it’s home to one of the world’s leading ballet companies, the Mariinsky Ballet.
