The Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings faced off last night in a competitive game that ended with a controversial call by the officials and a Kings win. However, that’s not the story of the night.
During the game, the Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan proved a hard force to stop. Opponent Rudy Gay seemed to get openly frustrated and took his anger out in a unique way. At one point, DeRozan’s shoe slipped off and ended up by the baseline. Gay’s response? He tossed the shoe right into the crowd.
Rudy Gay threw DeMar DeRozan's shoe and it hit a fan in the face. 😂 https://t.co/PDIAkqwess

The best/worst part? The shoe apparently hit a fan in the face. I hope that fan at least got to keep the footwear afterwards. It’s kind of like catching a home run ball, right?
Honestly, not the pettiest move in this league filled with grown men. Here’s a #ThrowbackTuesday to when Meta World Peace (then still just Ron Artest) couldn’t guard Paul Pierce so he decided just to pants him instead. Pierce still hits the 3 in his face anyway.
