Lin-Manuel Miranda may be drunk off his balls right now, but that doesn’t mean he’s not going to do full justice to his main man/muse Hamilton.
In tomorrow’s episode of Comedy Central’s DRUNK HISTORY, Miranda downs a bottle of something boozy and weaves us a yarn ripped straight from the history books/Broadway’s hottest Playbill: Founding Father Alexander Hamilton’s revolutionary rise to power.
You may think you already know the story–I mean, hello, we’ve all had the HAMILTON soundtrack cultishly memorized for months now–but drunk Miranda has a slightly different take on events than his genius hip-hopera counterpart.
I mean, don’t get me wrong. Guy still really knows his shit. But in this version, he does sound effects!
Plus, Alia Shawkat and Audrey Plaza play Hamilton and Burr. As if that’s not reason enough to watch anything.
