Heidi Klum Cloned Herself For Halloween And It’s Actually Quite Terrifying

Ageless model/ex-PROJECT RUNWAY host Heidi Klum has always been one to go ham on Halloween. Last year, she rocked this crazy accurate Jessica Rabbit costume:

The year before, this high-key butterfly getup:

And in 2014, she gave us this uncanny glimpse 40 years into the future:

Tbh she still looks great.

But this year, Heidi may have gone TOO FAR.

This Halloween, she enlisted the help of five fellow models to create a horde of Klum clones, relying on matching outfits, long golden locks, and heavy makeup & prosthetics to achieve the desired look–which I guess was supposed to be a playful send-up of modern technology’s dystopic future? Or just an excuse for 6 Heidi Klums to exist. I really don’t know.

From afar, the effect is eerie enough, sending my nerd brain spiraling into all kinds of potential BLACK MIRROR-esque sci-fi plots. But up close, the costume goes full horror movie:

Look at their corpse-like plastic faces! The stiff unmoving smiles! The dead, hollow eyes, screaming for help–for pity! And Heidi at their center, grinning like a sadistic god-king.

I’m just saying. This is dark stuff. I tip my hat to you, Klum. You definitely pulled off the scariest celeb costume this year.

What’s your favorite Heidi Halloween?
