I’m assuming none of you live under a rock a lá Patrick Star…and if my assumption is correct, then you’ve probably heard of DJ Khaled, the Palestinian-American superstar DJ who has the same first and last name. Well, if I’m wrong then you’re missing out. This guy’s the lord of the game when it comes to facilitating superstar musical collaborations and churning out unyieldingly popular radio hits.

You don’t rise to the apex of the commercial music game without making some friends along the way, and the proof is in the pudding. Khaled’s new track “I’m The One” features the who’s who of hit makers. Justin Bieber is the most surprising of the bunch, since his most exciting collab I can think of was that song with Skrillex and Diplo. This track is on a whole new level and J Biebs is front and center, delivering the catchy AF hook. Lil Wayne is also a welcome and exciting feature. As you may know we’ve been waiting on his supposed final album, Tha Carter IV, for way too fucking long. Douche-bag of the western world, Martin Shkreli, claims to have the long-awaited album and has been leaking it in small pieces. Wayne’s verse on here is in a new style, out of his standard ‘weezy’ rap delivery, instead he’s gone full autotune and sounds fucking fantastic. Chance the Rapper is at the pinnacle of independent artistry, uplifting his hometown of Chicago, winning awards and avoiding evil record labels, props. Quavo is the centerpiece of Atlanta superstars Migos, who’s hit Bad and Boujee can be heard blasting out of no fewer than three cars on any given street corner in any given city. This is the crème de la crème of hip hop collaborations.

The video opens with a shot of Khaled’s infant son/producer Asahd. Khaled calls up Chance, asking him to gather the boys for a celebration of success. They all show up and party like it’s 2017 with a hoard of scantily clad models. It’s a classic, over the top good time.

Soak this video up, it’ll be long before it’s outdone:
