I think we can all agree that Jurassic Park was (is) one of the greatest Blockbusters of all time. The 1990’s film had an impact on us all, parents and kids alike. So much so that the highly successful franchise didn’t stop at a sequel or even the early 2000’s Jurassic Park III, but has moved on with a fourth, and even a fifth installment to be released in 2018.
I mean seriously how many times can we play off almost the same plot….oh, that’s right, at least five times.
However, we aren’t here to talk about Jurassic Park, not really anyway, but we are here to discuss the cast.
Sam Neill (you’ll remember him as Dr. Allan Grant, the fedora wearing, kid hating, paleontologist) has revealed some very serious news.
During a recent interview with Neill promoting his new film ‘Hunt for the Widerpeople’, he divulged he may be reuniting not only with director Taika Waititi on his newest film Thor: Ragnarok, but his old co-star from Jurassic Park, Jeff Goldblum! *our inner child is screaming*
In a very ‘life finds a way’ moment, Waititi has made plenty of 80’s kids (and more) happy. Although we sincerely hope that Neill shares a scene with Golblum, having them in the same film is (almost) enough. Can anyone say Dino-Thor?
