That’s right! Steven Spielberg’s “Animaniacs” is returning to television. Since its launch on Netflix last year, “Animaniacs” has generated a large fanbase that has made it possible for an official reboot. According to IndieWire, Spielberg is teaming up with Amblin Television and Warner Bros to help create the new show. Although the rebooted “Animaniacs” has not found a network yet, it should not be a problem since the show is still in its early stages of development.
The original “Animaniacs” ran for 99 episodes from 1993 to 1995 on Fox Kids and from 1995 to 1998 on Kids’ WB. The show won three Daytime Emmy Awards and one Peabody Award throughout the 90’s.
So, “Animaniacs” fans, get ready for some more Yakko, Wakoo, and Dot!
